ACCESS TO PRE-BOOKED AREAS
Patrons with bookings in packaged dining areas and Marquees are permitted access from 12.00noon and not before.

MEMBER’S RACEBOOKS & DRINK VOUCHERS
Member’s Drink Vouchers & Racebooks can be redeemed from the Customer Service Booth in the Celebrity Foyer.

DRESS STANDARDS
Members Dress Regulations apply in the:
Octagonal Lounge & Deck Bar, Members’ Jockey Bar Dining Room; Members’ Reserved Grandstand; Members’ Lounge; Members’ Concourse; Silks; Celebrity Room; Inner Circle Restaurant; Phar Lap; Kingston Town and Tobin Bronze Dining Boxes; Pavilion Room; Valley View; Meeting Place; Champions Restaurant; and Saintly Suite.

Gentlemen (including Children 15 and over): Collar and tie with suit or with tailored trousers and tailored coat or jacket

Ladies: A suitable standard of dress in accordance with the members’ dress regulations.

At no time are the following items of clothing or similar permitted in the Members’ Areas:
T-shirts, denim/denim-look, tracksuits, shorts, runners or thongs.

Children under 15 are expected to maintain a suitable standard of dress all year round. Members and their guests may be refused entry to Members’ Areas by MVRC staff if it is felt that these standards are not being adhered to. MVRC Management reserves the right to exercise discretion in respect to dress standards.

Men’s Ties are available for purchase from the Merchandise stores at the pedestrian tunnel or 1st Floor Market Place.

NB: All ticketing for other enclosures has the dress standards printed on the reverse side. These are to be strictly applied.

STREET CLOSURES
The Traffic Management Plan will be in effect from 6am to 8pm, involving street closures and restricted vehicular access around McPherson Street, Coats Street, Alexandra Avenue and surrounding streets.

The following shuttle buses will be in operation:-

1 x 21 seater (for each time session) 4:45am – 3:00pm, 8:45am – 3:00pm, 4:00pm – 7:00pm, 5:00pm – 9:00pm

Members and Members’ Guest Cardholders and Reciprocal Guest Cardholders are invited to use the

The Members’ Bars include full cash bars and bistros. Snack food is also available for purchase. No bookings required.

Adult guest tickets are restricted to people with proof of residence outside Victoria (i.e. Interstate or Overseas).

MEMBERS’ RESERVED CAR PARK

Members can purchase reserved car parks in the McPherson Street car park. The car park must be vacated by 7pm (including the disabled parking area). Limited availability. Please note these are not picnic car park sites.

Members are not permitted to bring food, alcohol or garden furniture into this area.

You agree to and will abide by those terms and conditions.
 
Your booking is subject to availability. MVRC reserves the right to refuse to sell or supply corporate packages to any company or individual.
 
AGREEMENT A binding agreement is effective upon receipt of full payment.
 
PAYMENT DATE & CONDITIONS All bookings in excess of $5000 paid for by credit card incur an additional booking fee of 2%. All bookings must be paid for in full at time of booking.
 
ADMISSION TICKETS MVRC does not take any responsibility for lost or stolen admission tickets. Please keep a record of the printed number on each ticket. No admission tickets will be issued until full payment is received and all funds are cleared.
 
TICKET COLLECTION Tickets will be posted to all patrons except for bookings made after 5pm Friday 14 October 2011. After this time all ticketing will need to be collected from MVRC Head Office, McPherson Street, Moonee Ponds prior to 5pm Friday 21 October 2011.
 
USE OF FACILITY Attendees are not permitted to supply their own food and beverages. Moonee Valley Racecourse has adopted a responsible service of alcohol policy.
 
ON-SELLING You are not permitted to sell or on-sell your ticket or any part of your facility without the prior approval of MVRC.
 
 
CANCELLATION
In the event of a booking cancellation, the following terms are applicable:
1. More than 90 days prior to the event – Initial deposit will be forfeited
2. 30-90 days prior to the event - The cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of total estimated function charges based on anticipated number of guests as outlined on the Letter of Agreement.
3. Less than 30 days prior to the event - Cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of total estimated function charges based on anticipated number of guests as outlined on the Letter of Agreement.
 
A change of dates or postponement of an event will be considered a cancellation and the above will apply.  The new date will be considered as a new reservation and our normal deposit policies will apply.
